Generate Leads With A Contact Form

Generating leads and subscribers in the context of a skilly conversation can be extremely valuable for your organization. Consider this:

When a visitor submits their contact information at the beginning of a skilly interaction, everything exchanged between that person and skilly can be reviewed in your Conversations ahead of reaching back out to them. In other words, while standard contact forms only provide your organization with a visitor's email or phone number, our form effectively generates the equivalent of a "Tell us more" field with a full essay of questions, answers, and context.

Setting Up Your Form

If you've ever tried to get a contact form set up on the web before, you've probably found the process to be frustrating or complicated. But with your skilly instance, all it takes is one click.

You can find the Contact Form feature under AI Agent > Customize:

Scroll to Contact Info and simply toggle the button to Display the form. You can make the form required or skippable by toggling the Required button. Save changes and navigate to your skilly to see the result. Visitors will now be presented with a basic contact form when they launch their first session with skilly.

The Name, Email, and Phone fields are already baked into the form, so there is no complex customization or data routing to handle on your end. We took this simplistic approach knowing that so much of the valuable information you'll gather from a visitor will come from the conversation they have with skilly after they submit this form. You'll see their contact information along with the rest of their dialogue on the Conversations tab, where you can Download Contact Info:

Note: if you operate a contact form on your website, you likely have backend systems in place that send a visitor's contact information to any number of marketing destinations, so we don't recommend replacing your primary contact forms with this skilly experience. However, keep in mind that because you can create multiple skillies and multiple dedicated URLs, you may find that you want the contact form displayed on a skilly URL you're using for a targeted purpose, such as a QR code on a marketing display. In general, anytime you know visitors will be navigating directly to skilly instead of your website, you may want to consider displaying the contact form.
